NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Irish-born, singer-songwriter and international country music entertainer, Mags, is set to release her third original tune, titled “Run,”* to country radio in early February. Co-written by Mags, M. Anthony and S. Hogan (and produced by Michael Anthony of Emerald Field Productions), the storyline shares a keen insight surrounding an unfaithful love and lends womanly advice to let it go and wave “good-bye.”
Slated to impact country radio on Monday, February 4, 2019 [PlayMPE (01/07/19)/CDX Vol. 672 (01/14/19)], Mags emphatically refuses to watch a good-hearted-woman be led by a cheatin’ man with a heart untrue.
Keeping true to her spunky charm and no-nonsense attitude, as introduced via her debut single “Strong Enough” (June 2018), which ranked in the Top 50 on the MusicRow Breakout Charts, the musical composition highlights an adrenalizing, energetic beat that empowers the directive to hit the road and never look back.
Don't even worry I'll keep breathin'
You'll keep beatin'
He's just a piece of history not worth repeating…
“Sometimes it’s better to cut your losses, before you’re in too deep. There is no point in sticking around, waiting in ‘hope,’ just to be broken,” Mags said. “This tune is about being honest with yourself and the understanding that if he’s not willing to give up his heart, then save yours. Muster the courage, lady-love, and RUN!”
Grassroots Promotion will spearhead the radio promotion campaign; Mags will embark on the first leg of her “Run” radio tour beginning in late January 2019. She is also scheduled to participate in CRS-50 (Country Radio Seminar/Februay 13-15, 2019) in Nashville.
The track will be available via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon/iTunes/Pandora/ Rhapsody/Spotify) on Friday, March 8, 2019; single pre-sale event begins Friday, January 11, 2019. Digital retail distribution services will be provided by Ed Gertler/Digital Delivery Services.
