NASHVILLE, Tenn (Sept, 24th, 2019).- Irish sensation and international artist Mags McCarthy discovered “Emotional Honesty” totally by accident on Nashville’s Music Row. She was visiting an industry executive and unexpectedly got invited into a songwriter room to hear a new song that had just been finished and still was not even demo’d. Mags and her manager/producer Michael Anthony immediately recognized the value of the beautiful melody and heartfelt lyrics and decided right then and there they wanted to cut the song. Naturally the song’s co-writers David M. Ross and Steve O’Brien were ecstatic. Mags added her emotional vocals and haunting wild Irish fiddle onto the studio tracks to create the powerful recording that is now being serviced nationally to country radio.
Slated to impact radio on September 24th, 2019 [PlayMPE] (09/24/2019) and also CDX. The track will be available on all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer, Google play, Rhapsody)
The video of the song, which was shot in Ireland, will be premiered on The Country Network in the US.
